Hi All,

Keep Nutty in your thoughts tomorrow he's having his knackers chopped off! Nutty is currently with Jane but will be moving in here in a couple of weeks and after getting to know us for a month will be moving in with Leia and Lyra and roaming the garden with 9 sows (I put all my girls together for play time!)

Fingers crossed all goes well for him!

Good Luck Nutty mate. I've had "the op" & you've nowt to worry about, you're back home before you can say romaine lettuce & woohoo is the surprise at the end worth it ;) Love Toddie x

Never mind fingers crossed - Nutty's probably thinking legs crossed! poor boy! :x Good luck for your op tomorrow & think about being able to live with the ladies & not alone, unlike my poor boys...!

My quintet send squeaks & hugs to you & say 'get well soon'!! ;)

He won't be so Nutty tomorrow then will he? Hehehe....sorry, very bad pun but I couldn't resist. Good luck for the little chap! x

Don't you just love how eloquently a scouser puts it! he he. Thanks Lou, I took him into the vet at 5.30 in a pink crash pad, and apologised for the colour, they thought it was because he was having a 'gender' op. LOL All the nurses love him, and thought the fleecy crash pad with ears on was great. Will be picking him up about 4.30 tomorrow. Thanks for all your good wishes for Nutless, oops sorry Nutty. xx

Ah glad he was ok at the vets Jane. He really is a lovely guy! He won't be too far away from my thoughts tomorrow! x

Good luck - and dream of all the ladies waiting for you!

My Lewelyn is sending his sympathies and saying it was worth it.

Nutty's cage is all cleaned out now, and covered in vet bed ready for the homecoming tomorrow :)
Do you think I should put some pro biotic in his water for a couple of days or see how it goes? xx

I hope he's ok. I never put pro-biotic in their water bottle as it can put them off drinking. If he's on antibiotics after the op then I would syringe some pro-biotic down him a couple of times a day (not at the same time as the antiobiotic).

Fingers crossed for little Nutless!

The tub is downstairs at the moment, I think it said 1 scoop to 200ml water bottle, but I see what you're saying about not drinking, so I do have syringes, and have syringed other stuff, but how would I know how much to mix and syringe if it says 1sc/200ml? Sorry, never done this before. xx :{

What pro-biotic is it? You can make it up and it lasts up to 24 hrs in the fridge I believe. So I make up half what it says and end up throwing quite a bit away. Just reduce the quantity in proportion

It's VetArk Profession Pro-C Probiotic. Just looked at the scoop, I could easily halve it and make 100ml, and do as you suggest, keep some in the fridge. Thanks very much. xx

That would be fine - also meant to say, some of mine object to taking it cold straight from the fridge, so I leave it until it's at room temp! rolleyes

aww you'd have to change his name now he won't have them anymore :)) or still you could keep the name if he is nuts as in crazy:P.

Good luck, Nutty!

He he, yes it was Nutty by name, Nutty by nature. I think when he sees Louise's 9 sows he will go 'Nutty' xx

How is Nutty today? I hope the op went well for him. I am sure he'll be a very happy piggy when he can be with the girls!

They only had him overnight last night because I had to work at 7 am this morning so couldn't take him in at 8.30. I rang just to see how he was , and the nurses said very hungry, very noisy and very cute. awww. He is having his op this morning (even as we speak). I told the nurses how many good wishes he had received, they were really surprised! One of my rescue posters is up in there, so it was nice for them to put a face to one of the photos.
I have to ring at 2pm to see how he is, but I am at a funeral then, so will try and get through earlier if I can.
Thanks everyone, Nutty would be overwhelmed if he knew how you were all rooting for him. x

OMG, If I was a betting woman, I would bet that this is now what Lou will call him! :(|) :(|) :(|) xx

Haha Emily wants Monty or Mickey I want Noah or Lowry but I think Lowry should be a long haired peru! :(|)

Eccles could have been a Lowry...no I will reserve that for the posh longhaired pigs!

Peter wants Nutty now, it has meaning seeing as he has none! :(|)

We are keeping our fingers/claws crossed for Nutty. Keep us posted!

I haven't noticed that his changed condition has dented Llewi's appetite in any way - but then he has only one girl to please...

Vicky and Llewlyn xxxxx
