finny got stuck

my mum often gives the gebils the carbord tube out the the toilet roll i came in one day to find she had put one in the piggys cage, i sat down waching them play and i was just about to take it out because i wasnt shure if they could have it or not when finny put is head through it and got it stuck on his body he started sqqeeking and running about frightened so i got it off immetetly i checked him to macke shure he was ok and hes fine he was jst a bitt spooked so i calmed him down and put him back in obvisly i remover the tube and told my mum not to put in their again but i just feel so bad cause i promised i would never let anythink hurt them.:...

ask your mum to next time cut the tube down the middle

They do enjoy toilet rolls especially when you fill them with hay, once they are fully grown they will be fine with them uncut but till then just cut through longways and it will make for an easier removal rolleyes

i sometimes put them in my piggies cages too, but cos mine are fully grown, never had a problem with them getting stuck. it's funny to watch them as some of them just grab it by their teeth and throw it round, i love watching that :-)
