I picked up my 2 year old guinea pig from my local rescue centre on Friday night and introduced her to my 3 month old sow and all was going really well. Yesterday me and my hubby to be went out and purchased a new home for them to enjoy as a treat and whilst we put the new home together we put them in the run on our lawn. Both of them enjoyed the sunshine until someone went past on a loud motorbike freaking both piggies out before I knew it both had escaped and ran into the hedgerow unfortunately my new addition is a lot bigger than the baby and before we knew it she had wedged herself firmly in a pronged branch. My piggie was well and truly stuck and the branches were too thick to cut through so I had to request the help of our local fire brigade to help cut her free I rang the local number and was told someone would come out to assist I thought maybe two of them would show but oh no I had a full crew turn up! Four hunky men and ten minutes of cutting they retrieved my piggie, she was a little shaken up but is now doing fine, most of the neighbourhood have been to see her and shes enjoying her celebrity status
