Lucky

And wasn't it exciting?!

First time since last year for Lucky, and first time ever for Poppy, who was kept in a box before finding her way to auction and then rescue. She never left Lucky's side! xoxo

I love how tame Lucky is. She comes right up for a hello and snuggles!

It took me a long time to actually get them out... The run and the end piece were tucked away in the back of the shed and I hate going in there with an almighty passion. There are spiders bigger than I can even imagine in there, mostly dead but i literally cannot stand being near them. I had to run in, and run out again! I'm even terrified that there might be a spider attached to the run or end bit!

I'm pathetic but at least I managed to do it in the end for the sake of my piggles! Lucky is actually ok to run free on the grass as she will never run off into the plant beds and even if she did theres not really anywhere for her to go. I'm too scared to let Poppy do that though, shes so skittish and fast with it, that I doubt i'd ever catch her again!

And even Poppy came close too! This is a date for your diary, normally she runs a mile!

Poppy can do anything now, she's seen the big wide world, Lucky was kind enough to show her the ropes. They're two very cute guineas! :)

Haha! Hopefully this will be a new turning point for her, maybe she will learn eventually that not every sound is a harmful one! Its taken a long time but every so often I see progress, and I have seen more progress today!

Hopefully soon she will see the big bad world is not so bad! Its hard to believe she's been with us 5 months this month!

Awww, lovely! I can't wait to take mine outside!

Both are cute, but I think Poppy is my favourite... :) She looks like she would enjoy a hidey of some kind though? Maybe next time :)

Normally they have a piece of lino that goes over one end of the cage, so half is in shade and half is in sun, they usually tend to hdie under that! Whilst taking photos, I took it off so they couldn't escape me and my camera muahaha! It went straight back on afterwards though, I like them to have lots of shade and somewhere cool to go, also keeps their water nice and cool too!

I had my piggies out on the grass for the first time this afternoon and they were loving it! unfortunately i did not have a camera :(

They are so gorgeous, looks like they had a wonderful time.
