Hiya everyone :)

I'm planning on putting a guinea pig first aid box together over the coming days the problem is I don't know what to put in it! Hopefully my fellow GP adorers (you!) will guide me. ANY suggestions or links would be very much appreciated.

On my list so far I have Brolene for eye problems and infant Sudafed chesty but what else do I need?

Thanks guys :)

You are missing the one essential drug in the first aid kit, pain relief.
All of the other bits and pices whilst "nice to have" could all wait for a few hours. A pig in pain could die from shock in a very short space of time from the onset of the problem.
Junior Nurofen or Junior Calpol, at 0.2ml dose by mouth.
Buscopan, not a pain killer but an anti-spasmodic, for pigs with suspected bloat, one tablet, crushed and mixed with about 1ml of water, given by mouth.

Internet. There are a number of suppliers.
One other useful emergency medication is charcoal powder, although you may have to buy it in tablet form and crush it into powder. It can be a life-saver in poisoning cases.
