I am going to get a box soon and start putting togethor a first aid box for both my guinea pigs and hamsters

What sort of things should i have in there?

Good links from Stewybus.

Make sure you have 1ml syringes in and critical care, it is important to be prepared. Also some probiotic such a avipro-plus is a good idea these items keep for a few years unopened.

Fibreplex pro biotic is something I always keep in stock, the link above is probably the best price you will get it for, and they deliver it by return,

It is the best pro biotic I have ever used and the beauty of it is that when it is empty the used syringe, makes an ideal "measured" delivery system for feeding syringe paste,
