I have had my two little boys Raven and Teddy for about three weeks now. The first time when I put them out for floor time they were so nervous, they'd get themselves so worked up and so frightened I'd spend five minutes with them both inside my dressing gown calming and then back into their cage.

I felt so bad about not giving them floor time as I've heard so much about piggies being upset and getting bored.

Today when I cleaned out their cage I put them on the floor in a secure space with their food, some timothy hay, a rope ball and a blanket to help them feel more safe. As I was cleaning the cage I heard wheeking and Raven was popcorning and they were both running around, hiding in the blanket then doing laps and exploring.

I felt so much happier and less cruel about leaving them in their cage with only me picking them up for play;
They are growing bigger so I'm using my money I get for a new cage for them along with a run attached so they can go out as they please during the day

Will upload some more photos of them soon

Awww happy piggies <3 I found that putting them in a narrow hallway is the best thing you can do. I just have to close all the doors and then block the only way out to the living room and cover the floor with newspaper and put some random food and toys around and my baby gets a huge safe space for herself and the poor lonely thing gets so excited its like its her own Disney Land lol
