First foster piggy gone back to find a friend

Well today i took my first foster piggy back to the rescue, and if it was not for my oh i would have wanted to keep him even if it was not a great idea. Tango went back to fi with all his wounds healed and not a sign of pus on him, apart from all the bald patches i had cut (hacked) away to make it easier to get to the wound sites. He also a friendlier and chirpier chappie, and hopefully will find a friend and a wonderful family to look after him for the rest of his days. Although I have decided that i do not want to foster fulltime as i get too attached, but have decided to foster piggies that need special attention - eg meds etc that need the extra time that a rescue would struggle to find

You have done so well looking after him, sorting out his wretched situation ad his infested wounds and making sure that he has that chance - no wonder you are so attached to him!

Letting go is always the hardest bit...

Well done for all your work with Tango, and for letting him go - it's so hard when you've nursed them! Fostering 'special needs' pigs sounds like a great idea, although I think you'll get more attached to those than 'normal' pigs, but it's very rewarding.

Well done. I'd be the same as you and probably get so attached I'd want to keep them. You've done a really good job.

I am just not at a time in my life where i can take on lots of animals, do not own my own home, have not got married, had children excetera, i have to take into consideration how long these beautiful animals live, and any i have as my own i will want to keep for the rest of their natural lives with the best care and attention. Hence i do not mind short term nursing back to health, the ones that need lots of help to get back on their furry feet and into a new loving home.

Well done for everything you have done for Tango.
You are being sensible and not letting your heart rule your head. It is hard sometimes but at least you can help Fi again with another foster and gain enjoyment from that also.

Hopefully I will get to meet you some day!
