My big sis is up to visit so, after the kids had gone to bed, we got our 3 new additions out for a bit of lap time, OH had Pickly the little PEW, sis had Trevor the sheltie and I had Noodle the Peruvian....
It was ace! Trevor and Noodle both had a good chatter and Trevor even seemed to be putting her chin forward whilst she was being tickled in the same way that our dogs do when they love what you're doing. They weren't frozen to the spot but didn't try to run away and I got little kissy licks on my arm from Noodle (or was she just tenderising me
?). Pickly is still the nerviest by a country mile - but even she is muuuuuch more mobile than she was when she arrived.
I'm soooooo chuffed - they seem to be relaxing into our household even better than I'd hoped. They do still hide away when we go to the cage and are a bit resistant to being picked up - but, having been born at the rescue and having spent 18 months there I expected them to be much flightier for aaaaages.
Yay piggies and piggies kisses and chatteriness!
All I need to do now is figure out this whole photo malarky so I can make you all watch every little development!
Thankyou to everyone on this forum for every post they ever made that made me seriously consider GPs as pets....they're just fab!
