Hi everyone,
I'm taking my two young boys to the vets for the first time tomorrow morning, and was wondering if anyone had any advice on minimising the trauma for them. It's just to get their nails clipped so we can see it being done professionally before attempting it ourselves, and thought it would be good just to have them checked over to make sure all is good. Problem is we don't drive so have to take the bus. Its not far away but they are both really coming out
of their shells now and I dont want to set
them back as I know they aren't going to enjoy any of it, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how I can make it as tolerable as possible, I've been getting more anxious about it over the last few days! Thanks all!

I might be a bit late on the reply as you may have already left ... @)

But most take there piggys in a pet carrier, filled with hay or a blanket.

They should be ok on the bus in a carrier but if your at all worried you could place them in a large ish cardboard box with a few holes punched out with a pencil, pop them in the box and fold down the lid, then pop the lot in a carrier, ( if you have room) the box will absorb a lot of sound believe it or not, and as the box will be dark with the lid down the piggys should remain calmer, as it will remind them of a burrow, which to them is a stress free area!
