Hello. I've been wondering if I should give the three piggies a bowl of pellets for all of them to eat or five pellets a day each as I'm sure I've been seeing other people do that on here. I'm afraid Minja would hog all the food. When she went to the vets last Saturday with the other two, she turned out to be the heaviest compared to the boar, Ginny, but it's not really that surprising now I look at it!

How old are your pigs? I don't know how big your pellets are but 5 each does not sound enough for a day, my 3 have a heaped bowl (split between 2 bowls) between them but they are fully grown and need unlimited access to pellets.

Do you serve the pellets in one bowl? If you think one pig us commandeering all the supplies it would work best split between a bowl for each pig and spread out as far as possible so said pig can't keep chasing the others away from every bowl

The Bunny and Vitakraft pellets are much bigger and is 5 a day as Katie says. Even the smaller pellets I would not feed more than a sprinkling a day unless they are still growing. The idea is to make hay the biggest part of their diet.
