Flax Plant (phormium)- Does anyone know if this is poisonous?

Hi, I have been searching for a list of poisonous garden plants but none of the links seem to work anymore.
Does anyone know if the flax plant is poisonous?
My friend suggested weaving a piggie igloo out of the leaves which sounds a lovely idea but I don't want to give my fur babies anything that will cause them illness.

Not sure. I’d probably err on the side of caution and say avoid it.

Thank you. I will look at other options for natural hidey places. I was thinking I could maybe try weaving willow but now I've read that this contains aspirin and is poisonous to cats so I assume it would hurt my fur babies as well... I just want to find something I can craft something from myself

Hedge bindweed if you can find some. Though I don’t know if the stalks are edible.
