Hey guys, recently my cat got fleas. I never allowed her into the guinea pig room. But somehow I found 2 fleas on my guinea pigs. I searched it up and couldn't really find anything. Anybody know how to get rid of them?

Please be aware that flea sprays and powders can be lethal for guinea pigs. Make sure that the guinea pigs are well away from any sprayed area. Ask your vet for a safe product if you want to spray. Do not use any borad spectrum powders on guinea pigs EVER!
Fleas And Flea Powders
Guinea pigs don't have species specific fleas; while they may sit on guinea pigs shortly, they will abandon them quickly again because they go hungry.
Skin parasites are treated with a good quality ivermectin product; don't use a low dosed shop product that is not strong enough to deal with an acute case. You also always need to conduct a full course of three applications at the product specific interval.
