I am pleased that this question has came up as my cat had fleas recently so kept him away from the pigs just incase. It's nice to see you back by the way xx
Hey, you gave us a time window of an hour and a half - most people were still at work, cooking their families dinner or sorting their animals out. Don't be so quick to assume nobody will help - and it is never anything personal!
If it is urgent then mark your topic as such (with care to make sure it really is urgent to the wellbeing of your pig, in that you cannot wait a day for advice before you see a vet). If it is a non-urgent question, give the other members a day to reply and if you don't get an answer, either bump your thread up or PM a Forum Buddy, Mod or Admin and ask that we look at it.
The forum is more reputable than many website and most people recognise that. It's a pool of many opinions, where you can hear some different views based on the experiences of people who work in different ways with guinea pigs, and make a decision for yourself, rather than taking one line off one website as gospel.
Mine had fleas, they have a gentle spray for pigs and bunnies, and we used kitten flea shampoo, got them out the house, bombed, vaccummed, etc...they have fur, so they can get fleas
