Past couple of days, I have been getting bit an awful lot, but I have now found that it is fleas that are biting me. Obviously, I have picked some up on my clothes and passed it onto my cats and they have been breeding like mad. I do treat my cats for fleas, but not as often as you should as they never go outside.

I am now concerned where the fleas are in the same room as the piggies. I don't know if they do get fleas? I am giving all their fleece a high wash as soon as I get all the treatment for both the cats and the house which will be tomorrow, but what I am not too sure about is do the piggies need any sort of treatment?

I feel so bad for not noticing this earlier, but I have hardly been home.:0

No, as long as all dogs and cats in the house are treated and the carpets, furnishings and pet bedding it should not be necessary to treat the piggies. They are not a natural host for cat/dog fleas.
