Fleece Advice?

Hi everyone! I’ve recently switched to fleece about 2 days ago, I’m using a washable uhual dog pee pad, it’s working very well and the smell is minimal to nonexistent. I’ve been vacuuming up their poops and hay twice a day with a vacuum. How often do I have to wash/change out the fleece? And do I have to do anything else? Is there anything I could do to make it better for my piggies? Thank you all!

It depends how big your cage is and how many piggies you have in the cage. The smaller the cage, the more often it’ll need changing. Generally though, youd plan to change twice a week but you’ll have to see how it goes.

Depends but I’d probably say maybe every 4-5 days depending how mucky it is. Don’t use conditioner, and add a little vinegar to the conditioner compartment hen you put on the wash. You can use pee pads in high traffic areas as well.
