Hi everyone! Can I please ask for the ones that use the IKEA bath mats, do you also use fleece underneath? I am using disposable incontinence pads and fleece. Some of the fleece smells bad even after washing with vinegar. I bought some fleece from dunelm but it's so thin, I find it's impossible to spot clean properly. I am thinking I could use the incontinence pads - fleece - bath mats. Would that work? Then I could change the mats every few days and quickly bung them in the washing machine. They seem to wee a lot where they eat and the rest of the pads are perfectly dry when I lift the fleece...

I used them on top of fleece when I had mine indoors. Worked well as I could change the bath mats every 2-3 days. The fleece lasted a couple of days longer before it needed changing.

Yes I use mine on top of the fleece. Like siikibam said it makes it easier to shake off mess and keeps the fleece fresher for longer.

I use puppy pads underneath mine. I change all the bath mats every week and I sometimes find that not all the puppy pads are wet and the bath mats not damp as well despite my piggies staying in that area a lot of times during the day (I have two piggy areas and they roam freely in the living room, going back and forth in their areas the whole day). The bath mats are really great when it comes to absorbency.
