So, I am planning to make a fleece liner for Ginger's cage using these directions:
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y87bHLckGxM"]Quick how to! Make a fleece c&c cage liner - YouTube[/ame]

(Written directions here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/shivra/5448247050/) And I was wondering how I could do this and sew a Uhaul pad to it, with another patterned fleece on the bottom, making it reversible. The sides would have to be reversible as well. Sorry if this is confusing, because I just confused myself lol.

Thanks for the help! :)

You would need wadding or a mattress topper sewn into the middle, if you wanted to use it both ways use a protector that isnt water proof backed.
But why not just make 2? you would use the same amount of fleece and get a change out of it :)

This looks like a good idea, meaning that you could clip the sides easily to the cage, making it difficult for the piggies to runkle it up to make a nest. I think I'd just make the sides reversible though, so that it would look nice from the outside, if that was an issue. I don't know what advantage there would be in having the base doubled, unless that makes the wicking away of pee better? I use vetbed under my fleeces and change the fleeces more often than the vetbed.
