Hi I'm looking at getting fleece liners for the pigs when I get them.
As the area I need covered is large 190cmx80cm (6x2) it's £50 just for one! Where can I get them cheaper?
Thank you

You won’t want one that size though - it’ll be a nightmare to wash. You will be better to have multiple smaller pieces to cover the cage as it fits in and balances the washing machine better.

When I’m using fleece (i don’t use it year round as mine live in a shed), i use puppy pads (you can buy washable incontinence pads) and then lay a fleece blanket on top. I bought my fleeces from Dunelm for about £8 per blanket.

I agree, we have 6x2 fleeces and they can be an absolute pain in the bottom to wash, wish I’d of bought two smaller ones

I just use fleece blankets (£1.99 per blanket from wilcos) with towels underneath (£4 per towel from ASDA) and bath mats in some areas (£4 per bath mat from ASDA)

You will find that the wet pee patches are not evenly distributed so if you have a smaller 'jigsaw' of fleeces you might find that although some have to be washed regularly some will barely see any action!

Will they chew it if its textures like bobble ones? I don't want thdn getting injured.
I’ve never found any of mine to chew the noodle bits, you could try one and keep a close eye out for any chewing.

That is a great and cost effective idea. How often do you wash them all? Did you have to cut them to size? I'd love to see a pic! X

I didn't cut anything to size the towels overlap a bit and then I fold it all over at the edges so they can't burrow under them. I spot clean daily full clean weekly it gets a bit smelly by the end of the week but they have their own room so that's not a problem but you could full clean more regularly if this was an issue.

I hope this shows what I mean. Just rememberd some of the fleece blankets were cut in half to fit their hay tray and hay loft and we have all sorts of different sized towels to fill the space. We have gray towels for the piggies and coloured towels for us so we never get confused and dry ourselves on poo towels by mistake.
