fleece! sawdust can give pigs respiratory problems. Or you could use hay and newspaper xx

i use cage liners which is fleece sewn to a mattress topper there brilliant can leave on for a eek and even then no smells my piggies love it think it so comfy for um:)) i use megazorb in the kitchen but have a microfibre cloth in the door way so they dont take no mess down with them i just sweep the poo up in the morning and b4 i go bed heres a pic for you

Fleece! I use that at the moment.

woodshavings are not only expensive if you have a big cage they get into the piggies and our lungs they still have dust in them, so much healthier all round to use fleece:))

awww thats such a nice set up :) looks so cosey for them :))
yes okay thankyou everone :) i think i'll look into getting fleece for them, i think i'm going to have some very happy piggys :) i didn't no it could give them respitarory problems. i always buy dust extracted sawdust though.:{
whats the best thing to put under the fleese to soke up their wee wee?

matress topper for a double its £14 but it does 2 2x4 c&c cages plus some left and all machine wasable they never smell either * can sew to the fleece i swear buy them i have changes of them

thankyoooou. i'v ordered them some fleeces and matress toppers off ebay and i'll see how they get on when it gets here x)

does anyone on here make them. I haven't got a sewing machine and I can't sew to save my life :{

If it's dust extracted shavings, it's probably fine. But there could still be a small amount of dust, it would probably only affect some guinea pigs, but most would be fine with it.

I love fleece so do my piggies they are so happy when i change it as well :)
