The goblins have two fleece tunnels, both of which are currently in the cage. One of them they will use like an actual tunnel. The other is apparently not a tunnel at all, but a stepping stone to be used when begging at the bars. What gets me is it's always the same. If only the first tunnel is in, it's always a tunnel and not a stepping stone. If only the second tunnel is in, well, they don't need a tunnel, right?
The logic baffles me. Can they genuinely tell the difference between them both?!

Haha. My lot had 2 water bottles but only ever used one of them. Both worked fine and both were glass on a wooden stand.

They just have the 1now and a ceramic bowl just in case (which they occasionally poo in)!

They only ever used one bottle til I placed them a grid apart, and now they use both. Who wants to go to the other side of the cage for peace, quiet, and a drink? :)) The tunnel thing is baffling but hilarious, and I know what they're going to do when I put it in. The thing is those tunnels only stand properly if they're leaning against the cage wall (only the base is rigid properly, if you get me) and the orange one, they leave alone and use it as a tunnel. They'll actively move the pink one so it collapses flat so they can stand on it - it gets peed on more than it gets peed in, lol.

You’ve been had 🤣🤣 on a more serious note, I think they are cleverer than we realise or they’re given credit for. Those small brains are constantly churning.

They must be able to tell the difference somehow, you just don’t know how.

‘Cause that’s just the way they roll hoomin! 🤣🤣I’m quickly realising that there’s more to them than meets the eye!

This is a really stupid question but I’m asking it anyway - do skinny pigs make exactly the same sounds as hairy pigs?!

I might be biased but aside from their refusal to function as alarm clocks I'm pretty sure every noise they make is normal guinea pig noise dialled up to 11.

My piggies have 2 water bottles in their cage. They drink from the smaller one first, and then once it's empty, they go to the second one 😂
I have 2 bowls, and poo always gets kicked into there.........
