Fleecy blankets

I bought a man's really mega-thick fleece from the charity shop and have chopped it about to make fleecy blankets for the piggies. They've got them in the hutch tonight and a quick spy told me that at least two are in use, I can't see the others! Molly is on one, and so is Truffle, laying inside the wooden house on one.

They're not silly are they Anybody else got outdoor pigs with blankets?

I've just changed my boar over to fleece blankets instead of wood shavings (I think he was a bit allergic to the ws). He loves the fleece and sneaks in between the layers - does he think I can't see the big bulge?! ;D

Aww that is great, I've got indoors pigs on fleece. Good idea about cutting them down though, did you do it to fit the base? I've got my fleece hanging over the sides and yesterday I couldn't find Eccles, he is very tiny so clawed the fleece through the lip of the top of the cage and got underneath it! Pudsey, Flora and Fleur can't do it because they are too big but Eccles is only 3 months he's like a little mouse compared!

I thought mine would nibble away at it (I have several less than total jumpers now!) but so far so good! They're lovely and warm too and so easy on cleaning out days!

The only one of mine who nibbled was Cuzzy the rest don't bother.

Aww that is great, I've got indoors pigs on fleece. Good idea about cutting them down though, did you do it to fit the base?

No I've cut individual blankets . . .. I was hoping (probably in vain) that maybe they'd get off to have a wee!

Most of the fleeces had a few poos on in the morning so I think they've been used! Yay! I think I'll make more blankets then I can take out the dirty ones that get wee'd on and wash 'them, and stick the clean ones in!

Room service now! Maybe they'd like a cup of tea in bed as well ;D
