hi guys, i got a big problem w/ my gp, he got many flee and i dont know what to do :( help me pls :(

Do you mean he has lice ? It must be very itchy for him :-\ What i would do is if its a big problem as you say then id go to your local pet shop and gets some lice spray or shampoo O0 If its only bothering him a little bit then id order some GG products O0

yeah lice he got so many, but I'm from the philippines i cant order from gg.. i only got shampoo that i got from a local pet store. i dont know what to do i cant give it a bath coz its cold here now :(

Oh right - so does he live outside ? :)
If he does then is there nay chance of bringing him inside in a cage and give his hutch a thorough clean out O0

hes in a cage and i clean it weekly, can u suggest how to prevent it and how will i reomove the lice?

If your piggy is indoors, bath him and wrap in towels, even use the hairdryer on a cool setting.
If non of these is an option, I would visit your vet. Who should be able to give you some advise.
Good luck. O0

Hi,

As you are in the Phillipines I think you can get Neem shampoos?. If so this is very good for getting rid of lice.Wet the hair thoroughly, massage the shampoo in and leave for 4 minutes.Make sure the piggy does not get cold.Rinse off very thoroughly, towel dry or use a hairdryer. If the piggy lives outside it would be best to keep it indoors for at least a few hours after a bath.

What are the symptoms your piggy has?.Can you see the lice?.

i can see ther lice's he have its all together deep inside his hair and i can see itmoving, tomorrow i will give it a bath. :(

i had this with mimi wheni first got her.
it's very uncomfortable for them :'( she was flinching every time i touched her, but she'd been neglected. :'( :'( (not anymore, as pampered as any piggie could want, now she's with me!)
i went to my vet, as the GG stuff couldn't be used on young piggies, and she was only a wee little piggie. he gave me some special medicated shampoo which had coal tar in i think, it stunk! and some spot on. this worked fine. if it's possible to see a vet, i would if not as mary said, i would try and get some neem shampoo, it should do the job O0 tell us how you get on! :)

ok guys ill let you know what will be the result after i bath my pig tomorow.
