FLIES discusting

does anybody else have a problem with flies and indoor piggies, i dont know what else do do i clean them out 2-3 times a week and there are still heeps of them.

i just wondered if anybody else had this problem or if it is just me, dont know what else to do. any advise please?
 
I sometimes have the odd fly in my room.. not sure whether its because of the piggies i clean them out every other day.
 
me to at the moment i have counted ten, its horrible i just dont know wat to do to get rid of them, will fly killer spray be harmfull to the piggies?
 
yeah it will, your meant to leave the room when you have sprayed it so it could do harm to the piggies.
 
do you have a c&c cage.
I found the correx used to smell and attract flies, even though it was cleaned all the time.
 
I have this problem.
Mums gonna get me some flypaper. She says ive not to walk into it else my hair will get stuck!
 
could you get some fly tape stuff which you hang up and the flies get stuck in it. they are quite old fashioned and horrid but they work. you might've had a fly nest somewhere, i swear i had one of those a couple of years back as i one day has 20 flies in my room and all the windows were shut....

I have these in my bunny shed they are great look unsitely when they have a lot of flies on them but definately better than using chemicals.

Your Mums right they are super sticky!

Ive spotted a couple flying around my spare room where the piggies are, I do have the window open though to give the piggies some fresh air so i bet their coming through there.
 
hey guys do you know where i can get the fly tape/paper stuff from?
we used to use this in our outerhouse and its brill.
but just dont know where to get it.

the piggies are in our spare room to, we leave the window open to as geoff has his computor in there so it gets quite warm.

Just looked. You can get 8 for £1.99.
You could also get fly trap window stickers.

Some ppl know it as wilkos. Its a national hardware chain. ;)

Youll be able to get them in the supermarket too.
 
If you go to the wilkinson plus website, you can find out if theres one near you;)
 
I saw a great thing in Robert Dyas, it looks like a tennis raquet (sp) but it has an electric charge so when you swipe the flies, it zaps them. It cost about £10 I think! I wish I had got one now. At the moment, I put water and a few drops citronella in an oil burner and that helps a little.
 
I work at wilkinson. There are about 300 stores in Britain or maybe just england i duno, where are you ill find out where your nearest one is

The flypaper stuff is great for catching flies, we also have the window stickers that are the same as the fly paper but its a sticker. The paper doesn't look pretty but it does work - i go into the animal room and there is loads stuck to it!
