Flies

Hi,

I have noticed on a few occasions there have been a couple of flies hanging round the boys' cage, I am so worried now they could get flystrike, is it that easy? I bathed them on Saturday but they get so dirty so quickly.

Are there any signs I should be looking out for? I am worried.

Just keep clean bottoms as you are doing, keep the hair there trimmed so there is less chance of lots of mess. I have this problem in my shed at the moment and I think I will try some fly paper. We have also left spiders webs up so that they can be a natural way to reduce flies.

I am so worried that the damage has been done.

Is there a treatment I can get online or would it be too late?

This is the 2nd time their cage has been cleaned since Sat.
