So last night I cleaned out the cages of my boars and sows
I've only had them 3 wheeks and they are finally getting used to their new surroundings and coming out of their shells.
The cages are end to end and the eating quarters face eachother.

After cleaning, when the excitement level was already quite high, Bella, my little sow, rose onto her back legs and began biting the cage bars, directly facing the boys cage.
She did this for a good 2 minutes

Is this flirting?

I wouldn;t be surprised if she was in season.

However, you could have problems with fallouts being caused later on because of the girls when the boys hit the big hormones form about 4 months onwards. You may want to think about a divider screen between cages so that the boys can't see the girls.

Cheers for that.

Is that from 4 months ongoing forever?
The boars 18 - 24 months (Father and son)

All helpful - thanks
First time having sows so still learning the dynamics / do's / don'ts etc

I'll move them tonight as I'd hate to need to separate the boars
