Floor Time Fail

Took my piggies out for floor time yesterday. Deliberately timed it for a time I thought they'd be full of energy, as I noticed the last time I took them out they seemed to run around for the first 5 min while I was sitting in with them, but after I went out it seemed like they went into their hideys to sleep and never came out again, so I figured I'd chosen a bad time.
Left our sports camera (imitation go-pro) in with them so I could review afterwards how much they enjoyed their space. I'm now sitting watching 40+ minutes of nothing. Nia never came out the snuggle pouch I transferred her there in, and Patches went into his hidey after exploring for 5 min and just stayed there
[they were out for 3 hours because it took me longer than anticipated to make a new cage liner and I needed to clean out their cage. Nia was STILL in the pouch when I went in to transfer them back to the cage and Patches was still in the hidey. But the camera battery died after 40 minutes...]

Haha, this is how my pigs are. I take them out on our screened in porch during the evening. They stretch out on the concrete floor under the ceiling fan and nibble on some veggies and that's about it.

Maybe, just maybe the zipped around after the camera died and then went back to their place. You never know.

Our piggies only come out if we give them lots of hidies and some tunnels to play in.
