My two pigs have their floor time out on the living room floor (as opposed to in an enclosure / run etc.), usually I sit on the couch chuckling at them as they roam and run around, but last night I decided to lie on the floor with them (mostly to check if they were weeing under the coach) and it was hilarious! It was so funny to have a pig's eye view of them and their world, and as I kept very still and quiet they came up to me and had a bit of a climb, then had a root around in my hair, then kept coming up to my face and running / popcorning away. It was an amazing bonding experience so I'm going to do it again tonight - just got to keep the curtains closed or the neighbours will think I'm bonkers :))

would love to see some pics of them enjoying their floor time :) I want to let my 2 have a roam around but my mum would not be happy if they pee'd

I do that all the time, my family think I'm mad because when they are in the room they just huddle together. When it's just me and them it is amazing, such cute, adventurous little fluff bums. I enjoy it so much that I always forget to take pictures.

My boys fear the sound of the camera! My husband does photography as part of his job so gets a bit carried away and clicks at them a zillion times. With peeing on the floor, the first few times I let my pigs roam free they mostly ran to the same place to do their business (under a very low rocking chair - I think they like the shelter), so now I put down an old picnic mat with a plastic underlay and a fleece on top of that and they do all of their wees etc there - never had them go anywhere else since this arrangement. It took them a few days to figure it out. Having said that, my house does smell a bit now, and in their early days they did make a urine stain on a family heirloom rug we're got, so now I have to hide it from the in-laws when they visit ")
