I’m in two minds as to whether to put my boys in their runs during this cold spell. It’s snowing heavily and my flat is draughty at the best of times especially at floor level . I feel guilty if I don’t let them out but concerned they may catch a chill. Generally they have run times 6 days a week but I left them in their cages on Wednesday on Thursday so I could give my living room a major clean. Had I foreseen the weather I would have done the clean this weekend. I’d be grateful for your comments

I think if its too cold its fine to skip floor time, just until a warmer day- piggies definitely dont like cold draughts! I dont think naked hippo Tallulah will be doing much floortime today, she might get half an hour with the heating on full and a box full of hay and treat veg to sit in, just while we do the cage clean :)

Many thanks @PigglePuggle . I’ve let the boys out. I’ve wrapped all the runs in blankets , added fleece tunnels , put towels down as draught excluders and put extra heating on. I’ll leave them for a short period while I clear out the cages. It’s good to know it’s ok to leave them in their cages for a few days. I always feel guilty if they don’t get six days a week out. Thanks again
