Earlier today I collected my piggies after being an holidays for three weeks.
I put them back in their cage to settle in and a few hours later I took them out for floor time and cuddles.
I forgot to put out towels so I've used up most of the toilet roll cleaning up wee. But I for some reason I haven't seen any poos which is unusual so I'll probably find them another time in the most unusual places knowing my piggies. :hmm:

They are so gorgeous! What do you do with them during floor time? Newbie here still learning the tricks of the trade :P

Thanks!
All I do is take them out of there cage and bring them into a room with the door closed and let them run around. Make sure you block off any spaces they can get into like under a bed and wires and stuff. Make sure you keep an eye on them.

My one won't move when I take her out on the floor! But I'm hoping in time this changes, especially when I can get her a little companion to play with

Mine did this when I first got them. Took them a couple of weeks to settle in and get used to enjoying the extra space at floor time.

@Cavy Lover your piggies are gorgeous

@Eileen's Mum I shall keep persevering, even if it's just her sitting on the floor staring at me :D

Have you tried offering treats? I would sit in front of them with small cubes of cucumber and slowly, very nervously they would come and take some and run off with it. Now they climb on me for treats and eat them from my hands :)

Earlier she did sit beside me and eat some courgette out of my hands but once it was gone she just continued to sit and state haha

I'm having the same problem. There's hay in front of her nose but she just sits still. I got cuddles yesterday but she peed all over me... Never thought about a towel. 20170830_222736.webp
