So i offer floor time every day to my guinea pig i also make sure they have water and food on the floor but i was wondering so is there such a thing as to much floor time as i generally when cleaning out there cage i use fleece so i will wash it like once a week or some times two times and when i wash the fleece they are generally on the floor for like 3 hours or so. and on that note is there a reason that i should not wash there fleece once or twice a week. And is it obsessive to spot clean every day or is that a good thing to do?

My piggies get 4-6 hours playpen time and a full cage clean with fleece wash twice a week, and daily poop scoop spot cleans plus hay/poop trays wiped out and refilled daily, and water bottles rinsed and refilled daily. Clean is good as long as you dont use any harsh detergents on the fleece! My piggies get a bit cross when their poops get taken away but they soon do plenty more, and daily poop scooping has become a bit of a game at our house where my husband picks up the poops into a plastic box and the piggies try sneak in and knock it over while he does it :)

and also is it normal for a guinea pig to do this he will respond when i poke him with my finger. heads up this is not my guinea pig its an image i got online but he will lay like this were his legs will be like layed back like this if you look at the back of this image back leg that what my piggy dose

I spot clean and remove wet bedding twice a day. Mine are outside in my shed so aren’t on fleece though.
A piggy which lays like that is a very relaxed and comfortable pig!

Yea, hes chilling out if hes doing that, poking him will probably annoy him.
