Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has any tips apart from patience to get my girls interested in floor time. I sit on the floor with then talk to them, pet them, put tunnels out, fresh food a round ( there favourite foods). But they don't move an inch. If i pick them up they will eat on my lap.

Flor time is different to lap time first of all.

Lap time is when you have them out on your lap for a treat and hopefully some you and piggy time, not all piggies like this and it can take a while to tame them so them eating on your lap is really cool :)) Well Done

Floor time is a time normally for exercise and is normally done in a run. The thing is piggies like boundaries so runs are perfect. I am guessing at a free range floor time the space is too big and they feel vulnerable, what you are seeing is their natural piggy prey instinct. If i put our girls on the floor outside the cage despite them both being very tame they will freeze and eventually run over to the bars of the c&c grids to want to go back. Piggies like routine and security

Hi there,
Thank you for your input ,i think you are probably right.
