My poor Flopsy is in the wars again!

I'd like some advice on what to do. She has this bald bit and scabby bit. I did Ivomec 4 days ago and yesterday I chopped her mop and did a neem melt and then neem and manuka shampoo. Whilst shampooing her I noticed she has a lump on her back, quite shallow but quite large in diameter (maybe 1cm across)

I also noticed she's missing a claw.

Do I need to worry about them? Is she falling apart?

She's been unwell and has had a course of Baytril, she was snotty and had crusty eyes, that went after some antibiotic injections and the baytril orally for a week. She's been free of that for about 2 weeks.

no advice but hope someone soon will be here to help

Finger crossed for a return to good health!

Have you taken her to the vets? The shallow part on her back dosn't sound good, hope she gets well soon!

Its not her back that's shallow its the lump on her back that's not very big - it's shallow.

I know in most cases you can just leave lumps. I want to not stress her any more for a while so if I can leave her and observe a few weeks then I will. She's had so much upset - hence mites I think.

Like you said, mites and fungal complaints tend to creep in when a piggy has been fighting other problems and it's immune system is lowered.

I wouldn't worry about her missing claw. Most probably, it will grow back (if a bit thicker at first).

Have that lump seen by a vet and then decide what best to do. I am sure that alcesterpigs can give you the pertinent info (I can't).

Sending your poorly girl some big wheeks!

Thanks hun. I am going to give her a week to de-stress first I think. Do the second dose of Ivomec and then take her. I don't want to stress her out any more for a while - I am worried she will come down with something else if I do.

Leave the foot alone.
A 1cm diameter lump is SMALL!
It is more than likely to be a sebaceous cyst.

So if I leave her be for a week or so while I check on her lump that should be okay? (as long as it's not betting bigger of course)

Here are some pics of her back, I found another bald bit today

Mites / fungal? Thoughts please

Obviously it's hard to tell from a photo, but my feeling is that I would be quite sure it's fungal. The second photo is the biggest indicator.

Worth treating for mites too anyway to be sure, but I'd focus on the anti-fungal baths. I have a little lady, Saffron, who has persistent fungal problems (constantly sensitive skin, occasional 'flare-ups' in patches where it becomes very fungal). GG stuff isn't enough for her, the problem is so stubborn. With her I bath her in Povidone Iodine (half and half, mix with normal GG shampoo) as it's the only thing I have tried that deals with it, but as I said it is very stubborn. Nizoral has worked well on my other fungal pigs in the past.
