I noticed when I got Flora that she had a bald patch on her back, it looked to me as if she'd been bitten, Freya seems to be in heat a lot and it could of been her.

Anyways, the hair grew back and now its fine, but today I noticed a new bald patch sort of a bit below her left ear, the skin is clean and clear though, no dandruff, scabs etc. It's about the size if a 50p

Now I'm thinking what if its a ovarian cyst but I thought bald patches usually appeared on the sides of their abdomens?

If this turns out to be another vet bill, my OH is gonna kill me :/

She does get barbered a little by Freya too.

Ovarian cysts is normally round the side and starts as thinning, we have experienced this in 2 piggies now. Unsure what it could be by the ear, but would get it checked over at the vets. Lots of love to Flora x x

Hmmmm that is a strange one? Vets is a good idea still but other things you could do is weigh her and keep check of this if you dont already. Just because you will know if she ia suffering from something if she looses weight. Also has she been de-flied? It could be that she is being barbered. If so the only cure i know of is a lot of hay. It keeps the guilty piggy occupied an therefore is less likely to do it again. Hope this helps! Maybe a pic would help more experienced members give you a better idea? :) x x
