Arghhh, we have lice again.:( So a shampoo was needed today. They seem to be getting a bit more used to it, but you can definitely tell guinea pigs would never get in water simply for the 'fun' of it. To be honest WE have never really thought it much fun either, and feel very sorry for them. They do thankfully know how to milk the guilt trip and get loads of treats aterwards.

It is quite easy to do two but I did worry about them getting cold this time. Last time I just did one shampoo and rinse so it worked out OK doing two at a time. But with the lice treatment it takes a bit longer. Next time I am just going to plonk them in an empty bath one at a time and use the shower hose (without the head) to wet and rinse them. They seem to prefer that, it wets and rinses them much faster and it also washes all the grime away immediately. Sancho was so dirty, you wouldn't believe all the dust and dirt that comes off that boy pig! :)

I don't think mine would appreciate the shower hose, do they not try to jump out the bath?
