It gives me great sadness to say goodbye to Flossie today.

One of the most striking guinea pigs I've ever cared for. She came to me from a private rescue in 2012 approx 1 year old, after leading a horrible life as a breeder piggy, so much so, she had a very floppy belly. She instantly bonded with Captain Jack who treated her like the lady she was.

She clearly passed away from natural causes dying in her favourite snoozing spot. The same spot Captain Jack was occupying this morning when I checked on all piggies.

Feeling very emotional.

Flossie was clearly a special girl to have engendered so much love in you and Captain Jack. You have given her the happiest of lives in turn and shown her what paradise on earth must look like.
 
So sorry to read this @Mother Hubbard. She was indeed a beauty and despite her poor start in life she had the best home with you and her Captain. How lovely that she trottedoff to the Bridge while snoozing in her favourite place with her hubby. Sleep tight Flossie. Hugs to you Lilian xx

I am so sorry to hear you and Captain Jack have lost your gorgeous girl. She was a lucky piggie to end up with you after such a sad start to her life.
RIP gorgeous Flossie.
 
Mate, I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful girl :love: She had such a wonderful life with you and Captain Jack. She'll stay in your heart forever. Huge hugs x x

Dear Mother Hubbard. i just read this and I've got to honest it's got to me. The love and general feelings and vibes off people on this passin had reduce me to struggle. I'm not fortunate to know most on here but pls accept Kath and I sympathy on Flossie. she looked a darlin. FLOSSIE this is to you You left yer mum and she's hurt cos she loved you so. if I one day i can write about a piggie that leaves me the way you did. And I get comments like this I be a better person. RIP little one.
