I have this fluffy fleece that would look nice in the piggies' cage, but I'm concerned that the fluff would stop the pee from wicking properly. Apparently it's called "Velvet fleece." I've only ever used flat fleece in their cage, though I have seen some fluffy pads on the market.

When I brush it with my hand it sticks up.

I let the piggies walk on it and they left these little footprints

As you can see, it's not over the top fluffy but I'm still worried it won't wick properly.

If it won't work for them, I can use it for something else :))
What are your thoughts?

I wouldn't. I know that sort of fleece, I don't think it would be able to properly wick, but I also know the goblins would be gnawing at the tufty parts almost immediately, and I doubt they'd be the only ones.

Awh the feet prints are so cute! When I use fluffy fleece like this sometimes even fluffier i realized it didn’t absorb the pee as much as normal fleece usually use the fluffy blankets for hiddies and blankets they lay on so they are comfy and warm! It’s definitely not best in there’s department but they sure love the fluffy fabric.
