The cage is clean and deep cleaned, with fresh hay and nuggets. The piggies are fluffy from their anti fungal bath. This was their second one in three days. I won’t give them another one for two weeks now as I don’t want to irritate their skin.

Poor sweetie’s nose looks awful from the ringworm. She needs a claw cut but I think she’s under enough stress and nail clipping is deffo not her favourite thing.

Good work there! I'm just starting my cage cleans because we were beset by family all weekend. Everyone loves a fluffy piggy, even a manky balding one (both my bad skin piggies are floof balls, big Aunty Jez floof with a bacterial skin infection after mites, and Blodwen who arrived with ringworm. So much shed fur and skin flakes). Jez has manky claws too that have ripped bits out of her bum fur.
Keep a ray of hope and about 10 bottles of F10 and I really hope they will all get better for you!

I have 5 Rex and 3 short haired piggies. And one case of ringworm.

This was the second bath, and the shampoo wasn’t washed off straight away this time. When should they have their next bath?

Wow what a nightmare to deep clean! We have a 5x2 with a 3x2 attached and its the bits where the correx joins that are a to disinfect. And clean under, balancing a 5x2 piece of correx on my head while lifting the other piece with one hand and getting a vac attachment in all the nooks and crannies then F10 blitzing!

No idea about your baths I'm afraid, we have a twice-a-day spray for ringworm but I do feel your pain here, our new ringworm girl is in quarantine in another cage in another room, being sprayed twice a day and also being syringe fed and loxicom dosed after a dental- I'm still blitzing for mites and any potential ringworm transfer in the main pig room while trying the get Jez to take her baytril- piggies are very hard work!

Lovely piggies hope that poor sore nose fungus clears up soon! How do you treat the nose without stuff going in the eyes?

I sausage Sweetie in a towel and hold her against me as I apply F10 barrier ointment to her sore nose with a finger. I am very careful. If she struggles too much I wait until she calms down. The ointment is too thick for a cotton bud. she is on Intrafungol aswell.
