Flutterby/ Ruth Support Thread

As I live in Ireland we will probably never meet, but my thoughts are with you. I check the forum daily to see how you're doing. I never understand why horrible things happen to good people, but I hope there is some semblance of a silver lining knowing how many amazing people are on here who send unwaivering support

Thinking of you Flutterby, and I hope that you are holding up.

I know it's hard, and I cannot imagine how you are feeling, but you have done all that you could. No human could have done more. I am overjoyed that your four are doing well, and when the others finally go home with you, they will have a life of pampered piggy luxury

Thank you @Flamestriker x

Spent the day out today, haven't left the house since monday morning. I absolutely dreaded coming home and checking on the pigs just in case something had happened. I can't get rid of the feeling each time I go to check on them.

Thankfully they are all well, but I can't calm my nerves yet :(

Thank you @Flamestriker x

I'm glad they're okay, I'm so sorry you're having to deal with the dread :( x

Yes there are 4 girls waiting to come home which I can't bring home yet :( They were supposed to come home the week that we lost our first pigs, but obviously with the situation they are on hold. Thankfully they are safe and well looked after were they are at the moment.
Just so glad that they are keeping the piggies for you when you have gained some of your strength back. Xx

All is still well here. Clean out day again I've done the routine of dousing everything in F10. I'm exhausted :

I just... I don't know what to say. My heart goes out to you.
And I'm glad everything is going well now. Please, take some time to rest whenever you can x

Been catching up on this- i am so sorry Ruth. My thoughts are with you all- keeping everything crossed that you are through the other side of it now ((hugs)) x x

Thank you everyone. Today I completely sorted out the pig room, threw a load of old stuff out that was knackered and reorganized my little grooming area. The whole time was split between doing that and having piggy cuddles which was lovely. I feel I've had a very productive day and its kept my mind off things.

These were 75p for two in asda on offer. Normally twice that so they only get it every few weeks.

Mine love the silks and the papers of the corn cob so nothing goes to waste. My Rainbow Piggies Lenny and Gizmo only would eat the silks and papers and didn't touch the cobs!

They like it all but my local small asda doesn't do them with husks and that is where I get most of their veggies from.
