BEAPHAR FLY-FREE SPRAY

I haven't personally know. I don't use any fly strike spray and never have. I just clean them out more often in the summer, poo pick and make sure they don't have anything suck around their bottoms.

I don't use any sort of sprays, but I have a fly sticker on the window. It basically attracts them, and then on contact they die-normally find loads of them dead on the window sil. But you can also get ones that attract them, and then stick them to the surface. Looks a bit gruesome after a while, though!

There are loads of different brands, though.

Are you having fly problems? I found a load of tiny flies in the corners of my cages around 2 weeks ago, I cleaned them out, sprayed with disinfectent and fly spray then washed out. Put up fly strips and since haven't had a problem. xx

No i am just worried when i see a fly in the house..although i keep the cage very clean it just worries me.

I used to use rearguard from the vets but that was for my very old very smelly rabbit, it was a godsend.

I brought a fly strike spray by the same company but it was a 3 monthly dosage, figured it couldn't hurt to have a little extra protection for them as well as the extra cleaning etc

Uhm, me too. With this warm spell we're having and the windows open, have had a couple of flies buzzing around. Managed to zap one yesterday after chasing it around armed with a tin of hairspray (away from the piggies though mallethead)
Have thought about getting some spray as a precaution even though the piggies are indoors 24/7 as it's cooler for them. Read somewhere that Flystrike rarely attacks piggies but want to be safe not sorry :...
