food bowls/dishes

At the moment our boys are in cages of their own. They have now been neutered and will be having their girlfriends come in about 3 weeks time. Will I have to put extra food bowls in their cages foir the girls or will they be able to share food from the 2 dishes already in there (one for dried food the other for veggies). Sorry if it sounds like a silly question but needed to know if I needed to get extra dishes/bowls.

It isn't a silly question, we all have different techniques.

It's up to you, but if you're worried they'll bicker over one bowl, give them a bowl each or just a larger one

I don't use bowls for veg, I scatter it around the cage to encourage them to forage for it. I'd rather they worked for it than just sat there in one place stuffing their faces!

i would put an extra bowl in to begin with, just to give the pairings the best start, less things to argue about!
