Food brands

Hi i was wondering what is the best food brand for pellets . right now I use excel burgess nuggets is that a healthy brand ? I use to be on Muslie but recently chande to excel . My pigs don't eat a lot of the excel only a little bit and I did indroduce it to them slowly so is excel a good healthy brand to use ?

I use Excel and it's one of the most highly recommended guinea pig nugget brands. Nuggets are not as essential to a piggie's diet as some of us might think - as long as your piggies have unlimited hay and fresh veggies every day, don't be worried about how many nuggets they're eating!

Great advice from SapphireDreams.

I alternate between Harringtons Optimum and Science Selective, just because the piggies seem to prefer the taste (especially Science Selective) as the nuggets go like hot cakes!

Oxbow pellets are good but they are very expensive!
Mine are on Excel and Oxbow
