I've brought the pigs those burges black current food cubes. They haven't touched them so far. Does anyone else use these?
There normally on musli mix like Gerty but want to swap onto a more healthy food

I've never used them, but if they aren't used to the cubes it may just take them awhile the figure out that it's food. When I give mine something new sometimes they don't realise that it's edible straight away.

Maybe crumble a little off the cube if you can, and put it on top of their usual stuff in their normal food dish, so they associate that smell with something edible. After that they should sniff out the rest of the cube. By all accounts pigs LOVE the blackcurrant Burgess to the point of addiction, so once they realise they can eat it they'll probably go mad.

I've used them before and my piggies ate them but it took them a few days and they preferred their timothy hay! Have you tried the burgess nuggets? Mine love those!

I did buy these once as a treat, but wouldn't bother again as the piggies weren't overly fussed and I think they're very overpriced. I give mine a mix of the Burgess Excel mint nuggets and the blackcurrant and oregano pellets - you can tell they're top quality as soon as you open the bag. The pigsters do LOVE both varieties. :)

Mine would not touch them, but my cousins piggies just ate it straight away as soon as it put it in the cage and was gone within 3 hours :)) Its meant to last 2-3 days

Hi! I've recently become a happy owner of a Guinea pig. Th only concern I have is food I should give to my pet. I've surfed on the web, read many reviews, but still have doubts about what foods are the best for these animals. Can you please help?
