What else would fatten him up?

I use oxbow critical care for getting weight on pigs.

You can buy it from Thistle Cavies shop.

I always use diluted condensed milk( tinned milk like carnation) with brown bread soaking in it they love it, I give them a saucer once a day and its always gone, if they are ill or need a weight gain after illness,

How are things, Stroma?

If your guinea is reluctant to eat, I would suggest syringing liquid food (recovery food or fruit smoothie).

once your piggie can eat properly again, I would give him sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, I was told due to the oils they include they fatten up piggies alot :)
