Is it ok? I have been giving my piggies veg from the fridge but have read today I'm not supposed to mallethead Just want to double check before I start lecturing everyone over it

Phew I will carry on as normal then!

I wouldnt give them anything frozen, the other half nearly gave them some frozen melon yesterday as he froze some for the kids, I didnt let him though lol

I give from the fridge too, I wash it though :). Even more thoroughly after thta ecoli scare :o

I keep my veg in the fridge, all of it, whether it's for me or Jeddy, I never heard that you shouldn't, especially since it's kept fresh in the fridge! Think how nasty it would go left on the side. Ew.

I give mine form the fridge, slightly off topic, does anyone know if it's safe to give piggies radish leaves? I know mild radishes are ok but unsure of the leaves. ;)

i dont give mine food straight from the fridge i pop it in a colinder and leave it for a while then i rinse and prepare it, i thought the food being too cold isnt good for their tummies. on another note why is it that defrosted veg is frowned upon surely it contains more nutrients than fresh? any ideas anyone?
