Hello,
I'm getting two babies piggies at the weekend and have been reserching all the foods they can and cant eat.

I'm really confused over greens and cabbage as I'm reading contradicting information.

Some greens are ok and some arnt, - if i was to walk into tesco's how would i know the specific greens by looking at them? - assuming the packers knew and put them under the correct labels. :-\

also what about cabbage ? - some websites say you can, some say you cant.

thanks in advance for your advice

I think its under the health section there is a list if foods they can and can't eat. The information on it is great. x
Good luck with the new arrivals, look forward to seeing picturres. x

Hi there and welcome to the forum from us in OZ :)
OK you need to look at the list of foods good for piggies it's on here and you can also look at guinealynx (US based forum) for their food list O0
I believe from chatting to many lovely people on here that Tesco's seem to label correctly .... if you're unsure don't buy but come on here and post a thread for some advice...perhaps say the area you're from and there maybe somebody close to you that has had experience at the Tesco's O0
Oh gosh new piggies, congratulations we wish you all the best, you're life will change you'll be addicted quickly :smitten: ;D ;D ;D
We'd loooooooove to see pics too once they new arrivals come to their forever home :smitten:
Hope to chat soon :) :) :) :) :)
btw i feed very little cabbage as i find it tends to make them a bit uncomfortable as it can cause gas :-\ :-\ i only use it now as a treat and only rarely O0

give greens/cabbage in small quantities and not too often, they can make piggies gassy
