Would a guinea pig mind a 2.5 hour feeding time difference, as in the week days I will feed them at 7 : 00am, then at the weekends around 9: 30 to 10 : 00am?
Nah, mine don't have a specific feeding time. They get veggies when I get up and when I come home with a couple of snacks at bedtime. Just make sure they have plenty of hay, pellets and fresh water and they're happy pigs.
Mine cope with it. Although by Friday they're used to the routine so will get up early on Saturday but they soon settle down after a while and still come wheeking for veg 2 when I bring it later. I don't know how much they like the extra wait but as I say, they survive it!
Mine usually get their veggies between 8 & 9 on a morning & 5.30 & 7.30 on an evening. If I'm doing a record fair on a Saturday they might get breakfast as early as 5.30. Their dried foods are topped up after veggie times.
Mine don't have a regular time. When I'm on early shift, they get fed fresh at 4.30, when I'm on lates/rest on a school day they get fed at 8 before I take the nipper to school and if I'm on lates/rest on a weekend, they get fed at 9. They get a bowl of nuggets at teatime when I'm on earlies/rest or 11pm if I'm on late shift. They have plenty of fresh water and hay, so they're happy little fat piggies!
