Food

Welcome to the Forum.

The best place to start is with the diet guides here:
Diet Guides

I don't feed my lot rocket because I was worried it might be a bit spicy for them.
But if you check out the guides about you will see lots of examples of things that are safe for piggies to eat.

Mine love rocket but they only have it occasionally. I did not know it had vit c though. I think I read somewhere that it is quite high in calcium?

Mine love rocket but it not given in large quantities- I think because of calcium but I can't remember at the moment.

Apples are gone but as a sugary treat they are only once or twice a week (mine tend to get them less as I have 2 that are prone to bloat who get very gassy with them.

I feed the following (I rotate)

Daily (in that I don’t limit so although I could feed every day I may not).

Cucumber
Bell peppers
Little gem lettuce (and other lettuce bar Romany and iceberg)
Celery
Baby sweet corn
Fresh grass - picked for them daily

Occasionally

Fruit (apple, watermelon, melon, blueberries, strawberries, grapes - cut grapes. They are a treat due to sugar but also for mine bloat)
Kale (restricted due to bloat)
Spinach (restricted due to calcium)
Rocket - a decent pinch (restricted due to calcium)
Pea shoots (restricted due to bloat and they go off them)
Watercress (restricted as its string flavoured)
Green beans
Carrots (restricted due to sugar)
Corn on cob (restricted due to sugar)
Broccoli (restricted due to bloat - indeed I take the 2 who can have it out of the cage to eat it and the other 2 never get it).
Romany lettuce - special treat for biscuit- I’m wary of its reputation for increasing calcium in wee due to oxilates.
Dandelions - restricted as they don’t grow everywhere.
Strawberry leaves, raspberry leaves - when in season.
