thank you i feel a bit annoyed at pets at home for selling it because i always tend to think of their products as high quality and good for your pets but i will definately be more cautious in futureI will obviously stand by my previous comments as we discussed earlier. Avoid muesli type feeds.
As well as the selective feeding issue, the ingredients in this are not good - straw pellets, wheat, flaked peas, maize, and alfalfa. The Timothy hay content of it is so far down the ingredients list.
You ideally look to a plain pellet where Timothy hay or grass is the first ingredient on the list with none/or a very limited amount of grains included

Definitely get some good quality pellets for your pigs, avoid muesli mix. I only feed muesli mix to my pigs as a treat or hide a small amount in hay for them to 'find'.
I agree, I once bought a hamster from there and the assistant dropped her on the floor when handling her and we were sold a tiny cage and we eventually returned herI would say considering PAH’s stand on piggies I wouldn’t trust everything they say or sell. I don’t think they’ve updated their research with regards them else they wouldn’t be making the muesli at all now. And they also sell small cages that are labelled suitable for piggies. I think the better quality things are those that aren’t PAH branded. Just my opinion but it really put me off when I spoke to one of assistants in there about their piggies.
PS the only good things I’ve bought in there are the cardboard tubes and the beds. I did buy shavings but there were big pieces in there and also some plastic or something foreign.
