foods to help gain weight

hello as the title says what are good foods to help a piggy gain weight? a very fussy piggy.

i've heard oats are good are these just normal oats fromt he supermarket that we eat? a link would be helpful please.

sweetcorn he wont touch.

Sweetcorn, Barley rings and Oats are all good for weight gain. I believe it's just normal porridge oats but never fed them to my pigs.

my mums pig LOVES porridge oats, just dry as they come out the packet

I fed Artie Sweetcorn and porriage oates whilst he was recovering from a URI and eye infection, he lost so much weight on the baytril But the porriage oates did him well, and sweetcorn was suggested by the vet hope this helps x

Readigrass helps but not a long term solution as too high in certain nutrients.

I've given mine normal porridge oats mixed with warm water and cooled and sometimes added bran - they seem to like it.

thanks guys he doesnt like sweetcorn! he's way to fussy by far. will try barley rings and oats. bet he doesnt like those either.
